When and where is Big Tattoo Meltdown happening?
Big Tattoo Meltdown is taking over Nottingham on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May 2025, at Nottingham Motorpoint Arena. It’s going to be a full weekend of ink, entertainment, live events and more.

Can I buy tickets in advance?
Yes, and we recommend it! You can grab your tickets online through our website. Advance tickets are cheaper than buying on the door, and you’ll skip the queues.

Will tickets be available on the day?
If we haven’t sold out, yes – but it’ll cost you a bit more. Advance is the way to go if you want to save some cash and guarantee your entry.

What’s included with my ticket?
Your ticket gets you access to the arena for the day – meet the artists, watch live tattooing, enjoy stage shows, check out traders, and soak up the atmosphere. If you want to get tattooed, though, you’ll need to book with an artist separately.

Can I get tattooed at the show?
Absolutely! Loads of artists will be taking bookings before the show, and some might have walk-up availability on the day. Keep an eye on our socials to see who’s attending and how to book in with them.

Is it just tattoos or is there more going on?
There’s loads going on! Expect live entertainment, performances, food and drink, alternative shopping stalls, and generally a buzzing vibe all weekend. It’s way more than just a tattoo show.

Is it suitable for kids?
The show is family-friendly during the day, but please be aware it can get loud and busy. Kids under 12 go free with a paying adult. Some performances later in the day may be more adult-oriented, so use your judgement.

Can I bring my dog?
Sorry – no pets allowed, unless it’s an assistance dog. It’s just not the right environment for our four-legged friends.

Is the venue accessible?
Yes! The Motorpoint Arena is fully accessible, with lifts, accessible toilets, and wheelchair spaces. If you’ve got specific accessibility needs, feel free to contact the venue ahead of time.

What about parking and transport?
The arena is right in Nottingham city centre, close to bus, tram and train links. There are plenty of car parks nearby too – but it will get busy, so plan ahead.

Can I come in fancy dress?
Go for it! We love seeing alternative fashion, cosplay and creativity – just keep it respectful and within venue rules (no weapons, even fake ones).

Will there be food and drink at the show?
Yes! There’ll be a mix of food stalls, bars, and vendors throughout the venue – including veggie and vegan options.
